Now, of course you didn't think AMC had this layout from the beginning! No, there's been a variety of different layouts. Here, you may see them. ^^ Also, just because I'm no longer using them does NOT give you permission to copy them.
AMC's Original LayoutThis was AMC's original layout. It was quite simple, but I liked it.
Layout 1.5This layout was really just a modified version of the original. There's image headers instead of word headers, and the tables were cleaned up a little. I think. After a while, I got rid of this layout. I felt there were too many random colors in it, mostly from the various Pokémon in the headers.
Layout 2AMC's second layout. If you count the first two as one, that is. I liked this one, as it looked pretty well organized. However, I soon grew tired of the huge headers and the extremely plain banner. I was also growing tired of all the dull gray layouts, so I made something new. The Charizard is by Suta-Raito.
Flames of Glory LayoutAh, Flames of Glory. One of my favorites here. I drew the fire and the Charizard on an oekaki, and I was quite pleased with the results. This layout also featured hover-over affiliate buttons. I got quite a lot of compliments on this layout, but people also told me it was too bright and eye-hurting. Eventually, I decided to replace it. I may remake this layout one day, though.
Dragonair LayoutThis layout ended up being known as the Dragonair style. I was extremely proud of this layout, since it was the first layout that was capable of having a styleswitcher. It was also my first completely image based layout. I wish I could've done something a little fancier with the banner, but due to my lack of decent art programs, it was either do something simple, or attempt something fancy and have it look horrible. I chose simple.
Butterfree's Night LayoutThis is the Butterfree's Night layout. I really liked the colors on this one, even though the layout itself wasn't much different than the Dragonair style. I guess that similarity allowed it to be added to the styleswitcher, though. Once again, I chose something simple for the banner, and I think this one turned out better than the Dragonair one.
Flareon Inferno LayoutFlareon Inferno style was AMC's first non-fixed width layout. It also fit into the styleswitcher, but I had to make some adjustments in the coding for it to work. It still had a few issues, but for the most part, this style allowed a little more diversity in the layout choices.
Tyranitar Green LayoutThe Tyranitar Green layout was one of my favorites. ^^ I made this layout for AMC's first birthday. Look at the difference between this and AMC's original. Makes me feel happy. =)
Midnight Black LayoutThis style, Midnight Black, was made shortly after the Tyranitar one. It was my second favorite, the first being the Tyranitar one. I tried to make the menu backgrounds look outer-spacey, but I think they look a little like black denim. XD It wasn't until after I was done that I realized I had meant to make a Mightyena style with a similar color scheme.
Sharpedo's Trench LayoutSharpedo's Trench was the second non-fixed width layout. It didn't take too long to make, and it was another of my favorites. I got a little bored of the blue, though.
Firefly's RainbowFirefly's Rainbow was AMC's first DIV layout. I was incredibly proud of it, and it was the first time I used GIMP for the banner and headers, so it turned out looking a lot more professional. Because it was coded in DIVs rather than tables, making a styleswitcher was easy, and it allowed great diversity in the styles.
Forgotten ForestThis layout was probably the most creative of anything I've done so far, with both menus on one side. It took me a long time to make, mainly because of my laziness but also because of my lack of a working computer, so I couldn't make images for it. I liked it at first, but as with the Sharpedo's Trench style, I grew bored with the blue. This style was named the way it is because Pineco and Tangela, the featured Pokémon, are rather forgotten and less loved than they deserve to be.
Holiday BirdsThe Holiday Birds layout was one of the fastest layouts I've ever made. I already had half the color coding, from a Xatu fanlisting that I failed to finish. It wasn't that creative, basically the same setup as the Firefly's Rainbow style, but I wanted to finish it for Christmas. I feared that the pink and green would be rather eye-hurting together, but I think I did a good job of making the colors soft enough, and it's my favorite style out of the three in the DIV styleswitcher.
Nostalgic LegendsNostalgic Legends was made for the site's second birthday. It represented nostalgia in two ways; it featured the legendary Pokémon of Gold and Silver, and also nostalgia of the young AMC, made with all gray layouts. It's nice to compare this layout to the one I made for AMC's first birthday and to the original ones. ^^
Sea Stars and PearlsAuroraKing of TCoD suggested that I make a dark blue and purple layout, so I did. ^^ I suppose it's more of a dark purple and blue, but still. This was a relatively quick layout, but it took me a long time to work out the glitches that wouldn't let me put the left menu on the right. I really like this layout. ^^
Forgotten Forest 2This is pretty much the same as the other Forgotten style, just with some green instead of blue. I like it much better than the old one. ^^
