AMC's founder, Absol, is currently facing a problem. The torches in the main entrance of The Cave have gone out, and Absol needs Charizard to re-light them so Pokémon not so accustomed to the dark can see. However, Charizard is missing! He's flown off again, flirting with a female Charizard. Absol needs to find Charizard before nightfall, or The Cave will be dark for those who can't see at night. As much as Absol likes the darkness, he needs those torches lit. Will you help him find Charizard?
As you travel through The Cave to find Charizard, you'll encounter many Pokémon. Listen to their discussions with Absol very carefully. They might give you clues as to where Charizard might have been, or a clue to where a Pokémon who could help you more is.

Raticate: Charizard's missing, you say? Hope you find him, Absol. You know, Charizard has been spending a lot of time at the library lately. Maybe you could look for him there.
Absol: Thanks, Raticate, I'll look for him there. (Absol speaks to you) Electa the Pikachu also likes staying in the library. If Charizard's not in the library, we could ask Electa. She reads a lot of non-fiction and historical books, so she's usually near the section with books about the past and such. Actually, I think we should look for Electa, because Charizard's probably not in the library any more.
